The Leica BLK2GO is a handheld laser scanner with colour imaging and SLAM technology that captures and registers in real time. This is the fastest and easiest way to scan large structures or environments where fine accuracy is less essential. Use cases include capturing stockpile volumes while minimising exposure times in hazardous areas and large buildings for evacuation drawings and floorplans.

Artec Leo

The Artec Leo hand scanner works via photogrammetry and is focused on high detail on a small scale with a 3D point accuracy of 0.1mm and a resolution of 0.25mm. A highly detailed, textured mesh of the item scanned can be produced for online viewing, suitable for the preservation of organic remnants, historical artifacts or mechanical components. This lends itself well to reverse engineering and 3D printing applications.
