Welcome to the Setch Design web site.

Setch Design is a Townsville based engineering design office with a multi-discipline team of professionals specialising in mechanical engineering services for the refinery, mining, manufacturing and power generation industries.

The team at Setch Design has extensive experience in the design & drafting, construction and maintenance of mechanical plant and equipment including piping & ducting systems, pressure vessels, heat exchangers,  conveyors and materials handling equipment and associated steel structures and civil foundations.

We have the only Leica Total Station, 3D single point laser scanner (used in pipe scanning) in Australia. This marriage of a high powered laser survey instrument to the cutting edge Leica fieldPro & Coade CADWorx fieldPipe software can make an enormous impact on cost reduction and reduced downtime in many industrial disciplines.

Our intent is to stay at the forefront of industry technology and techniques and we use the latest AutoCad software along with continually updated, industry standard 3D piping and structural specialist add-in packages.

We pride ourselves on our organisation, integrity and the quality of our work and can provide fast, accurate and affordable service.


         
Cadworx software combined with the Leica FieldPro package have provided the cutting edge technology
 to give us an incredible  advance in piping design capability.



We use DrawPoint Drawing Project Management software to maintain tight control of drawing directories,
documentation, transmittals, archives and project history.
